Iona College, together with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls enjoy a strong community partnership. A partnership that supports both the Men’s and Women’s programs within our local area, whilst providing opportunities and pathways for our students.
Recently Iona hosted a round of rugby league action on Davine Oval, and we thank our community for their support and attendance. Despite heavy rain, the matches went ahead and the crowd grew during the afternoon. Congratulations to our Seagulls Teams who won all four matches played.
This was a free day for the whole community and it also marked the historic occasion of the first ever Wynnum Manly Seagulls Women’s game. Iona has been a proud partner of this new team and assisted the team in every way possible.
