Old Boys
Iona welcomes you, as an Old Boy, to give back to your school, whether as a mentor, coach, career advisor, or by sharing your story with us. The collective knowledge of Iona’s past students is an invaluable strength and asset.

Families of Iona are an intricate part of who we are. Active involvement will enhance your own journey within the school community. Strong and enduring friendships made beside the sporting field, at musical performances, working bees and working in the tuckshop will continue long after your son’s graduation.
ICare provides very practical short-term assistance to families that find themselves facing disruption due to illness, trauma or other circumstances. Our mission is to help and support families during difficult times that can confront them when unplanned things happen. We welcome community members to volunteer their services to support our families in need.
The friendships and unity formed with other Iona parents continue on, long after your son has graduated. You become part of unique community which shares the same values and common bonds. Past parents are encouraged to maintain links, share news, attend functions and continue to be involved with activities across the life of the college.
Volunteering is a key and pivotal service, which contributes to making Iona’s community such a wonderful and special place. The videos, policies, procedures and agreement set out Iona’s expectations and standards for Volunteers within our community. As a Volunteer, it is important that you understand and abide by these.
