The 1980s at Iona College saw the expansion of sport and other co-curricular offerings for students and were characterised significantly by an increase in the pride and competitive endeavour within our community, enabling our students more opportunities to compete and showcase Iona within southeast Queensland.

We pray that our competitive endeavours may always be characterised by respect for others and the pursuit of excellence.
