Oblate Mission Action Term
Thank you very much to everyone who supported OMAT last term. Together, we raised a total of $15,540 which will be donated to MAMI who will distribute it to Oblate Missions around the world.
OMAD this year will took on a new format and was named OMAT (Oblate Mission Action Term). Instead of activities on just one day, activities this year took place every day from Week 2 until Week 9. It was an exciting and busy term.
Each House plus Years 5 and 6 were asked to coordinate four events in Term 3, according to the mass roster (the day that each House/Year Level was rostered on for mass was the day they ran their activity). Some activities cost money (no more than $2 per student) and some events didn’t raise money, but they made a positive contribution to our College.
There were no donation envelopes this year. A donation link was been established and families donated to MAMI if they chose to. Obviously MAMI still needed our help now, more than ever.
