We are pleased to announce the new date for OMAD 2021 is Friday 8 October – Week 1 Term 4. We hope we can resume our traditional OMAD format, last experienced in 2019.
Oblate Mission Action Day (OMAD) is our College’s major fundraising event for the Oblate Missions throughout Asia and Africa. This year we are giving families the opportunity to make a donation, pre-order food and pre-order Mission Money online.
OMAD is an important fund and awareness raising activity for the Oblate Missions who, in part, rely on the money raised on this day to assist with their ministry. Therefore, we ask families to please continue to make a donation to the Oblate Mission, if they are in a position to do so. Donations can be made via the Trybooking Link Donate to the Oblate Missions
All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
Students will collect this on the morning of OMAD from the ‘OMAD Bank’ and spend it like money on the day (each Mission dollar is equivalent to monetary $1 at OMAD). Therefore students will not need to bring as much cash from home with them. All activities will be accepting both coins and Mission Money on the day. Change will be given in cash, not Mission money from the cashier station on the day. Please note that no refund will be given for unused Mission money. Mission money can only be used on OMAD Day. The link to order Mission money will close on Tuesday 5 October at 10pm. Link to order Mission money.
If students are pre-ordering food, they will need to take their ID card to the location on the day and have their name marked off the lists. All pizzas are from Domino’s. Any food that was ordered for the previous date will carry over to Friday 8 October. Pre-ordering food will close on Tuesday 5 October at 10pm. No late orders will be accepted. There will be lots of food available on the day, even if you haven’t pre-ordered. Link to pre-order food
