Confraternity Carnival 2020 in '21


YURA: Means ‘Welcome’ in the language of the Quandamooka people of the Bayside and its islands.

The College warmly invites the Bayside and wider community to come along and be part of a wonderful and inclusive rugby league competition.  For the first time in Confro history, nine girls teams will participate in the carnival.

An overview of each day of the carnival is below. Admission to the Confraternity Carnival is FREE!

  • Sunday 27 June – Opening Ceremony and Mass (for participating schools only).
  • Monday 28 June – Pool games for Open Boys’ and Open Girls’ teams. First game commences at 8:40am. Last game concludes at 4:45pm.
  • Tuesday 29 June – Open Boys pool games / Quarter and semi finals for Open Girls’ teams. First game commences at 8:40am. Last game concludes at 4:45pm.
  • Wednesday 30 June – Rest Day (no games will be played).
  • Thursday 1 July – Quarter and semi finals for Open Boys’ teams. Final and presentation ceremonies for Open Girls’ teams. First game commences at 9am. Last game concludes at 4:15pm.
  • Friday 2 July – Finals and presentation ceremonies for Open Boys’ team. First game commences at 8:30pm. Trophy Challenge Plate, Bowl and Cup Grand Finals commence from 11am.  Shield Grand Final commence at 12pm. Presentation and Awards commence from 1pm on Field 1.
