Lads’ and Dads’ Breakfast

Iona College students, their fathers and other significant male figures celebrated Fathers’ Day at the annual Lads’ and Dads’ Breakfast.

Here are the highlights of the morning.

Guest Speaker: Sam Heazlett, Australia A, Brisbane Heat, Queensland Bulls, Sheffield Shield, Queensland Schoolboys and Redlands Tigers cricketer.  Sam’s attendance further highlighted the relationship between father and son as Sam is the son of long-serving Iona Primary teacher, Mr Glenn Heazlett, who presented a father’s perspective.

The morning also featured a special performance by Iona Singers.
